LugCamp

# What is LugCamp?

LugCamp is a great initiative that will take place in a camping near Bracciano, in Province of Rome, from hours 17,00 of Friday, September 7^th to hours 13,00 of Sunday, September 9^th (please read the F.A.Q. for further informations).

LugCamp would like to be a kind of local CCC Camp: camping, lan-party, technical talks, etc... Doors open to anybody who:

• likes Linux and Free and Open Source Software;
• has an open mind;
• likes to be in company;
• wants to meet people with his same interests;
• wants to pass three great days of real fun, and to take a bath in the lake.

LugCamp will have a double side:

• the former: playful / funny;
• the latter: serious.

Playful for the approach and the location; serious because of the technical and theoretical talks... Hopefully accompanied by a good wine...

# F.A.Q.

• How much is it?
  6 Euro for night (tent reservation included).
• I got to bring a tent with me?
  Yes, sure! You gotta bring a tent and your sleeping bag.
• May i rent a caravans or a bungalows?
  Yes, sure! but you need to contact the camping staff.
• What to do in order to participate?
  Register yourself here.
• I must also reserve the camping?
  No, the registration to the LugCamp is enough.
• How can I reach the camping?
  Please refer to this page (bus connection service available for those who comes by train).
  
• Is a desktop computer/laptop necessary?
  Yes, if you want to be connected to the LAN (Internet access too). A guardianship service is available upon request for those who wants to leave their stuff in a guarded place.
• What about Ethernet cables and hubs/switches?
  Don't care about them, the camping is already wired.
• Do you have a WiFi access point?
  Yes! :-)
• I must carry power strips or cable extensions?
  We have about twenty power plugs, but they'll likely not be enough, so please bring at least a power strip per participants group and some extensions.
• I must carry toilet paper, towels and cookers?
  Toilet paper: yes; however it's also on sale in the camping market. Towels and cookers: the market doesn't sell them, you definitely have to bring yours with you.
• What about eating, lunch and dinner?
  For dinner the camping has its own pizzeria (price list here); it's also possible to order something for lunch. There are great restaurants in Bracciano if you want to eat lobsters. If you want economize you have to carry a gas cooker with you, there are not common kitchens in the camping.
• I'd like to deliver a talk, can I?
  Sure! Please fill the proper field on your registration form we will contact you.
• Why the registration form is on a separate page?
  Unfortunately, there's bug in some versions of Mozilla that doesn't allow a proper visualization of the form in the page.
• How can I contact you for further informations?

• CLARIFICATIONS
  Everyone must have their tents, camper or whatever for sleeping. The 12 Euro for 3 days fee doesn't include the rent of caravans or bungalows, only the tent place. If you want to sleep in a bungalow or another structure belonging to the camping you have to contact them in advance (please refer to their site contacts page). This service is not organized by the LugCamp.
